Lifestyle photography is more about capturing a memory while telling a story than traditional posed photography. I like to describe it as the cool, casual older sister of portrait photography. It's similar, just a little more fun. While I still like to capture a few standard eyes-on-the-camera portraits each session, my main focus is on the stuff that makes you, you! I love lifestyle photography for its authenticity, emotion, and human connection. 

This style of photography thrives on movement, so during our shoot I will provide gentle guidance and simple posing tips to help prompt you and your loved ones into interacting naturally and candidly while on camera. Keeping a steady flow of movement produces beautiful photographs and creates something that is just a little bit different (in a good way). The desired outcome is intimate, candid, expressive photographs.
